The best seats at the best price.
Flexible exchange policy - Unable to attend Friday and want to come Sunday instead? We are happy to exchange your tickets for the best remaining seats in your section (Subject to availability). Please note that you may only exchange your ticket BEFORE the performance has taken place.
You are guaranteed priority seating. Your seat will become your seat and if you want to move, as a subscriber you have the first chance to change your seat.
Rest easy, if you lose your ticket we will issue you a replacement!
All Sales are final. Artists, repertoire and times are subject to change. Premium Seating is reserved for patrons that contribute $500.00 or more a year (per seat).

All sales are final and there are no exchanges or refunds for single ticket purchases, however we do offer subscribers the opportunity to exchange their tickets. Consider becoming a subscriber today!
Plan your evening to include our pre-curtain "Nuts & Bolts" lecture which begins one hour prior to the performance. Arrive early and avoid the parking stress! Delicious food and an array of drink offerings will be available for purchase before the performance and during intermission under the festive tent in front of McAlister Auditorium.
Latecomers and those leaving the hall during the performance will be seated at the discretion of House Management. Reserved seating is not guaranteed after the performance begins.
There is no dress code for the opera however most of our patrons enjoy dressing up for the occasion - pamper yourself!
Artists, repertoire and times are subject to change.
Premium Seating is reserved for patrons that contribute $500.00 or more a year (per seat).

There are no refunds or cancellations on ticket orders. The New Orleans Opera Association reserves the right to change dates, casting, and repertoire in unavoidable circumstances.

Group Discount Information

Groups of 20 or more receive 20% off, and students receive 10% off the purchase price on tickets in any section. We also offer discounts to smaller groups, please contact the opera for more information. All sales are final and artists, repertoire and times are subject to change.

Student Ticket Rush Program

We have a Student Rush Program - with your valid student ID you can receive 50% off of any remaining ticket 30 minutes prior to each performance. All sales are final and artists, repertoire and times are subject to change.

Lost Tickets

This is a subscriber benefit. If your tickets have been misplaced for any reason call the New Orleans Opera Box Office and your replacement tickets will be printed immediately! If you notice they are missing after hours on performance day, come to Customer Service at the Auditorium and we will make sure your seat is secure.

Donate Your Tickets

Can't attend the Opera? Donate your tickets! If for any reason you are unable to attend the opera, please donate your tickets back to us. Another patron will be grateful and you will receive a tax letter for your contribution. You may donate the tickets back by calling our box office at 504.529.3000. You may also donate your tickets back to the opera in person at the box office on the evening of the performance. We are not able to accept ticket donations once the performance has begun.
